“Paying For College”

The goal in the composition was simply to represent the light source of a stage and portray a feel for the overall piece. Secondary to that, I wanted to express a palpable despair with the subject drawn.

All original charcoal compositions are made with Strathmore 300 series medium surface paper and Derwent premium charcoals. 14x17
