“Crossroads”

A colorful and stylized approach to the myth of the legendary guitar blues man , Robert Johnson. Whom as rumor has it, sold his soul to the Devil in exchange for mastery of the guitar and stardom. Not to dissimilar as to what is purportedly happens in Hollywood today.

Mark’s watercolor portraits are intended to be a stylized hybrid of a slight caricature style with still enough realism to bypass the cartoony element depicted in most caricatures. All original watercolors are made with Strathmore 300 series mixed media paper. 9x12. Includes 16x20 white matting and foam board backer.
