Another fun painting that does take advantage of the papers white negative space backdrop to represent the subjects dress. Beautiful and simplistic, I almost don’t want to sell this one.

Mark’s watercolor portraits are intended to be a stylized hybrid of a slight caricature style with still enough realism to bypass the cartoony element depicted in most caricatures.

All original watercolors are made with Strathmore 300 series mixed media paper. The artwork on this piece is 9x12 .
